The General Assembly of TEI, consists of:
a)The President of the TEI
b)The Directors of the Schools,
c)The Heads of the Academic Departments (and up to two per School)
d)A representative of the undergraduate students, a representative of the graduate students, elected for an annual term without possibility of re-election,
e)A representative of each category of staff, with a two-year term with a voting right on issues affecting the relevant category of personnel
ADMINISTRATION BODIES OF THE SCHOOLS
a) The DIRECTOR of the School is a full Professor with administrative experience
b) The SCHOOL COUNCIL, which consists of:
- The Director of the School,
- The Heads of the Academic Departments of the School,
- A representative of the students of the school, without voting right.
and
c) The GENERAL ASSEMBLY of the School composed of school faculty members, as well as representatives, by category, of the members of the technical training staff, the members of the laboratory teaching staff and members of the special technical laboratory staff.
ADMINISTRATION BODIES OF THE SCHOOLS DEPARTMENTS
a) The Head of the Department,
b) The Assembly of the Department,
c) The Directors of the Departmental Sections (if the Department has established internal Sections),
and
d) The General Assembly of the Departmental Section
The Head of the Department is elected for a 3 years period, he/she oversees the Departmental services and co-ordinates and supervises the operation of the Departmental Sections in collaboration with the academic staff of the Department.
